Call for Judges | 2024 Annual Research Forum
Judges will be notified of their session assignments by April 1, 2024.
All sessions will take place between 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM on April 6, 2024.
Research Forum Event Details
Date: Saturday, April 6, 2024
Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: SU Ballroom, Catered breakfast and lunch provided
- 8:00-8:30 AM: Presenter, Judge, and Guest Check-In
- 8:30 AM: Inspiration, Innovation, Impact (I3) TED-style Student Showcase
- 9:30 AM: Presentation sessions and judging begin
- 12:25 PM: All sessions conclude
- 12:30 PM: Lunch, Awards Ceremony with special addresses
Three session types:
- 10-minute podium talk presentation
- 5-minute poster presentation
- 5-minute creative expression
Judging of sessions
There are 5 - 8 presentations per session. Each presentation is followed by 3-5 minutes for Q&A and time for judges to complete their scorecards. There is a brief recess between the conclusion of the presentation sessions and the Awards Ceremony.
