Online ID Verification for Multifactor

Body

ACE Multifactor Online Verification

UNLV IT is testing an easier way to verify your identity when requesting to reset your Multifactor Authentication using DocuSign. Though this process, you'll upload your ID and then take a verification photo.

Why do I need to provide my ID?

Your ACE Account is your digital identity for UNLV and multifactor authentication protects your identity from being stolen. To make sure only you have access to your account, UNLV IT requires you present identification to reset your multifactor authentication.

What identification types are accepted?

DocuSign supports most ID types from many countries, including Passports, Drivers Licenses, and State ID cards.

RebelCards are not compatible with DocuSign. If you wish to use a RebelCard, please call the IT Help Desk and request a real-time video verification.

What if I do not want to use DocuSign?

If you do not have a supported ID or prefer to opt-out of DocuSign verification, you can call the IT Help Desk and request a real-time video verification or visit a Help Desk location on campus.

Next Steps

Once DocuSign verification is completed, the IT Help Desk will review the request, reset your multifactor authentication, and then contact you via email.

If there are any issues with your request, the IT Help Desk may call or email you with further questions.
