This document explains how to request and use the Hoteling service on a Cisco phone. The Hoteling service allows user settings to be temporarily loaded on a telephone. It is a great choice for people that work from more than one location, a shared space, or work different shifts in an office with one phone.

When
The Hoteling feature can be used as needed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This feature can be requested 24 hours a day seven days a week. The Work Order Control Unit processes requests during university business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (excluding observed holidays).
Requirements
The following requirements must be met for the feature to work correctly:
- A compatible Cisco phone enabled a Hoteling Host
- Current UNLV employee with a Webex user account
- Webex account enabled as a Hoteling Guest
- ACE ID
- Voicemail PIN
- Web browser

Procedures
Request the Feature
- Log into the web portal using your ACE ID and password.
- Select the Telecommunications tile from the Department Services.
- Select the Telecom Help Request tile.
- Select New from the Request Category list.
- Select Feature as the Service Type.
- Select Hoteling as the Feature.
- Provide user (Hoteling Guest) and phone (Hoteling Host) information to complete the submission form.
- Submit the request.
Create an Authentication PIN
- Follow this guide to set your voicemail PIN.
- Your voicemail PIN will be used to authenticate your Hoteling session.
Log into the Hoteling Service
- Follow this guide to log into the Hoteling Service.
- Your User ID is your unique primary extension.
Log out of the Hoteling Service
- Follow this guide to log out of the Hoteling Service.
Report a Problem with the Feature
- Log into the web portal using your ACE ID and password.
- Select the Telecommunications tile from the Department Services.
- Select the Telecom Help Request tile.
- Select Report a Problem from the Request Category list.
- Select Feature as the Service Type.
- Select Hoteling as the Feature.
- Provide information to complete the submission form.
- Submit the request.
Cancel the Feature
- Log into the web portal using your ACE ID and password.
- Select the Telecommunications tile from the Department Services.
- Select the Telecom Help Request tile.
- Select Cancel from the Request Category list.
- Select Feature as the Service Type.
- Select Hoteling as the Feature.
- Provide information to complete the submission form.
- Submit the request.
