Minitab 22 Installation and Activation Guide

Minitab is a statistics software package that can look at current and past data to discover trends, find and predict patterns, uncover hidden relationships between variables, and create stunning visualizations to tackle even the most daunting challenges and opportunities.

Minitab is available at no charge for UNLV Faculty and Students. The UNLV license currently expires 12/31/2024.

Before you begin

System Requirements

To install the Minitab Desktop App, you will need:

• A device meeting Minitab system requirements
• An active UNLV Minitab User License
• An Internet connection to download and activate Minitab

Download Minitab 22 Desktop App

1. Login to the Minitab website.
2. At the Welcome to Minitab screen, select Download Desktop App. If the welcome screen does not appear after login, click My Products at the top-right side of the screen to download the desktop app.

The installer files should now download to your local computer.

Install Minitab 22 Desktop App

Once the installer files have been downloaded, install Minitab.

1. Launch the installer for Minitab 22. The setup will start to load.
2. Once the main setup screen appears, select Next. You can leave the setup language as the default.
3. On the next screen, select Next.
4. On the Software Subscription Agreement screen, review the agreement and scroll to the the bottom to check the box for I accept the terms in the Software Subscription Agreement and acknowledge the Privacy Notice, then select Next.
5. On the Activate Software screen, select Activate with a license, then select Next.

6. On the Licensing Method screen, select Sign In, then select Next.

7. On the Destination Folder screen, click Next. You can leave the destination as the default.
8. On the Ready to Install screen, select Install.
9. Once the installation is complete, select Finish.

Minitab is now installed.

Activate Minitab 22 Desktop App

Once Minitab has been installed, launch the software to activate the license.

1. Launch Minitab 22.
2. Once the program opens, select Sign In.
   
   
    
3. A web browser will open. Type in your UNLV email address then select Next.
4. You will be redirected to the UNLV ACE login page. Login with your UNLV ACE account.
5. Once you've successfully login, you will be asked to read and accept the terms of the Software Subscription Agreement. Review the agreement and scroll to the the bottom to check the box for I accept the terms and conditions in the Software Subscription Agreement and acknowledge the Privacy Notice, then select Accept.
6. Once you have accepted the subscription agreement, you may go ahead and close the web browser. The Minitab desktop app is now activated.
