AI Companion is also available for use in the Zoom whiteboard. Because you can access whiteboards outside of a meeting, you can use AI Companion in a whiteboard at any time, as long as you have it enabled in your account.
Turn on Content Generation in Your Account
- Log into your UNLV Zoom account
- In the navigation menu, click Settings
- Click the AI Companion tab
- Under Whiteboard, toggle the radio button for Whiteboard Content generation with AI Companion ON
Use Content Generation on a Whiteboard
To use AI Companion in your whiteboard:
- Select the AI Companion sparkles icon on the left-hand navigation, which may be above or below the toolbar
There are two ways to generate content once you have accessed AI Companion in the whiteboard.
General Prompt
You can type a prompt for what you wish to be generated. You can specify the form you want it to take or be more general. AI Companion may not always generate it in the form you want it in (sticky notes, etc.).
If you are happy with the output, select Insert to add it to the whiteboard. If you do not like the output, select Discard to delete it or Retry to regenerate. You can also select Refine to adjust the Length, Tone, or can Translate To another language.
Specific Format Prompt
If you know exactly how you want your content to be formatted, you can specify how you want it to appear by selecting the option for a diagram, text, table, sticky notes, a Kanban board, or cards.
This will auto-populate a partial prompt, such as "Generate table for," which you then refine with specifics.
