Honorlock Student Guide

This feature is limited to a pilot group

Honorlock is currently being pilot tested by a select group of courses during the Spring 2026 semester. If you do not see Honorlock in your course menu, your instructor/course is not part of the pilot.

What is Honorlock?

Honorlock is a remote proctoring service that uses a combination of AI tools, live proctors, and a Chrome browser extension to secure the testing environment in WebCampus/Canvas. When students are required to use Honorlock with a quiz, they can be restricted from visiting other websites, printing, copying or accessing other applications while completing a test.
