Accessibility Resources

To help meet UNLV’s obligations to persons with disabilities, UNLV has identified a need to create the Office of Accessibility Resources to oversee and support a five-phase accessibility plan. The Office of Accessibility Resources, through the accessibility plan, will provide resources for the UNLV community to develop and adopt accessible Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for persons with disabilities and promote a culture of universal access.

We provide training opportunities on the Foundations of Accessibility, Accessibility in Canvas, various accessibility workshops and open labs to support you in making accessibility happen. Please use the Accessibility Training, Workshops & Open Labs page to register for a training and/or view our available training topics and times. The Accessibility Resources Team will be happy to train academic and administrative units on request - please contact the team via email or by telephone.

The Office of Accessibility resources provides oversight, training, and support for all UNLV Faculty and Staff in accordance with UNLV Accessibility Policy, and its associated Standards and Procedures. This policy outlines accessibility standards and guidelines for the creation and procurement of learning materials, communications, software, and other digital content at UNLV.
