Summary
eduroam is the primary wireless connection for UNLV Students, Faculty, and Staff. Most campus users will connect to eduroam for their devices.
Body
eduroam is a globally accessible Wi-Fi network that not only provides Wi-Fi access on UNLV campuses, but also at thousands of participating eduroam institutions. eduroam is UNLV's primary Wi-Fi network for Students, Faculty, and Staff.
To connect to eduroam, customers will need to enroll their device with UNLV at least once every 12 months.
Are you a guest without an ACE Account or eduroam from another institution? You'll need to
Guest Wireless Access instead.
Enrolling Devices for eduroam
Before you begin
Before you enroll in eduroam:
- Only currently enrolled UNLV Students and active Faculty and Staff can enroll devices to eduroam with UNLV. Customer's who have eduroam at their home institution must follow their instructions to enroll. All others must use Guest Wireless Access.
- UNLV eduroam customers cannot connect directly to eduroam from your network list. You must enroll each device that you want to connect to eduroam.
- Devices must be re-enrolled at least once every 12 months, and up to 100 devices can be actively enrolled at one time.
- We recommend verifying your device up to date with all available software and driver updates.
- If you need assistance, we recommend visiting us in-person at a Help Desk location on campus.
When enrolling in eduroam on campus, you can connect to UNLV-Setup temporarily to complete the enrollment process. You can only use UNLV-Setup for 15 minutes.

- Verify your computer's OS and drivers are up to date
