Overview
BitLocker is a data encryption feature built into Windows that helps protect your files from unauthorized access. It encrypts the entire drive, so if your device is lost or stolen, your data stays secure.
Why Am I Seeing a BitLocker Recovery Screen?
In the event a Windows device fails to start up, and a BitLocker Recovery Recovery screen appears at boot, the device may have lost it's ability to auto-unlock the drive with the on board TPM. In this case, a recovery password must be entered to complete boot.
Getting Started
Submit the request for service to get assistance with recovering your machine and logging in again. Describe the issue you are encountering to the best of your ability. Please provide identifiable information such as Property Tag number (UNLV Barcode) of the computer, and a Screenshot Of the BitLocker Recovery Recovery screen.
