A RebelCash account can only be closed and refunded if you, the account holder, are no longer affiliated with UNLV. This includes those who have graduated or withdrawn from UNLV, and those who have separated from employment at UNLV.
Once a RebelCash account has been closed, it cannot be reopened.
If your RebelCard is lost or stolen, you do not need to complete this form. You can freeze your existing RebelCard and have your balanced transferred to your new card. Contact RebelCard Services immediately at 702-895-2351 or deactivate your card online at rebelcard.unlv.edu.
The current fee to process this request is $20 and will be deducted from the balance in the RebelCash account; fees are subject to change. A check will be issued by the UNLV Disbursements Office, usually within 4-6 weeks. The check will be mailed to the address submitted on this form. Any deposits made online within six months of the request to close the account will be refunded to the credit card used to make the deposit.
