Your ACE Account security question allows you to reset your ACE Account password, without needing to call the IT Help Desk. You are prompted to answer the security question before the password is changed.
Updating your Security Question and Answer
You can update your security question and answer at any time though the ACE Dashboard.
If you cannot login to the ACE Dashboard, please call the
IT Help Desk
- Go to ace.unlv.edu and sign in with your ACE Account
- Select your name in the upper right, then select Settings
- Select Edit Profile. If you do not see Edit Profile, continue to the next step.
- You may be prompted to sign in again. Enter your password, then select Verify.
- You may be prompted to satisfy MFA. If you cannot complete MFA, contact the IT Help Desk.
- Scroll down to Forgotten Password Question, then select Edit
- Select a question from the list, then input your answer
- Select Save
Once the question and answer box disappears, your question and answer is saved. You may now close the ACE Dashboard.
