Starting Instant Zoom Meetings

You can start an instant meeting in Zoom without needing to schedule by using your personal room, or by creating an instant meeting with it's own Meeting ID.

Starting an Instant Meeting

1. Open Zoom on your device
2. On the Home page, select New Meeting
   
   

This will begin an instant meeting with a unique Meeting ID. You can invite others to the meeting by opening the Participants menu then selecting Copy Invite Link.

Use your Personal Room

Zoom for Windows or macOS

1. Open Zoom on your device
2. On the Meetings page, select My Personal Meeting ID
3. Select Copy Invitation to copy the joining information to send to your guest
4. Select Start to open your personal room
   
   

Zoom Web Client

1. Log in to the web client, then select Meetings from the left-hand navigation
2. Select the Personal Room tab once you are on the Meetings page
3. Select Copy Invitation to copy the joining information to send to your guest
4. Select Start to open your personal room
