Microsoft 365 apps login

Users may experience issues signing into their Office 365 for Home Use applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or OneDrive. Make sure that the correct login address is being used. If first.lastname@unlvmsoffice.onmicrosoft.com shows as the email address, this is the old tenant and is no longer in use.

 

Account Error

If you notice a warning symbol and receive the following error message this means your Office 365 application was previously signed in to the old account tenant. Select Sign out and follow the steps below for the new tenant sign in.

  

 

Sign in to Microsoft 365

1. Launch Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. or OneDrive

2. Select Sign in or create account.

3. Remove the first.lastname@unlvmsoffice.onmicrosoft.com shown.

 

4. Type in [your ACE ID]@unlv.edu and click Next.

5. Sign in using your Ace account.

 

On Windows devices, you may be prompted to "Automatically sign in to all desktop apps and websites on this device?" select No, This app only.
