Presenting Activities in Poll Everywhere: Web Portal

If you want to present and moderate your Poll Everywhere activities from your browser instead of a slideshow app, you are able to do so via the web portal. You can present a single activity, or multiple activities at a time.

Present a Single Activity via the Web Portal

  1. Log in to your Poll Everywhere account
  2. Select the Activities icon

  3. Select the activity you wish to present by clicking on it from the list of your activities

  4. Before presenting, open the How People Can Respond drop-down and ensure at least one response option is enabled so participants can respond to the activity

  5. Select Activate. Once you have collected responses, you can select Deactivate

Presenting Multiple Activities

You are also able to automatically activate multiple at a time by using present mode online. However, before going into present mode, we recommend that you put the activities you want to present into a folder first. This ensures a seamless experience, where your participants will see only the activities you want to present.

Create a Folder and Add Activities

  1. Log in to your Poll Everywhere account
  2. Select the Activities icon, then select + Folder

  3. Name the folder, then select Create Folder
  4. Back in your list of activities, select the checkbox besides the ones you want to move, then select Move

  5. Choose the folder you want to move them to, then select the Move button

Start Presenting Multiple Activities

Now that you have moved the activities you want to present to a subfolder in your account, it’s time to present.

  1. Access the folder
  2. Click on an activity in the folder

  3. Before presenting, open the How People Can Respond drop-down and ensure at least one response option is enabled so participants can respond to the activities.
    Use the navigation on the bottom to toggle between all the activities in the folder to check their response settings

  4. Once your response settings are configured, select Present. You do not have to manually activate the activities; once you are in present mode, they will activate as you progress

  5. To deactivate the activities when you are done collecting responses, simply stop presenting
