Once you have downloaded and logged into Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint, you can add an activity and other content, like join instructions, to your slide.
Inserting Content on a Slide
Before adding activities that your participants can engage in, we recommend you add a Join Instructions slide. This provides all the information participants will need to easily join the upcoming activities.
Add Join Instructions
- Select Instructions

- This will launch a window in your Poll Everywhere account, with join instructions for your audience
- To insert the instructions, select Insert Slides

Add Activities to Slides in PowerPoint
Now that you have added instructions, you're ready to add activities! To do this:
- Select Activities

- This will launch a window in your Poll Everywhere account. Here, you can see a complete list of activities you created or have access to. Select an activity or activities from the list by ticking the checkbox. You also have the option to create a new activity
- After choosing the activity or activities you want, select Insert Slides

- You will get a confirmation in the window that the slide(s) have been added, and the activity will appear on its own slide
Once you are presenting, the activity will activate automatically. You do not need to manually activate it prior to presenting. If you have multiple activities, these will activate automatically as you progress through the slides.
Whenever you add a slide with Poll Everywhere content, it may appear blank in edit mode. However, in presenter mode, your audience will be able to see the content.
