Before you can present Poll Everywhere activities in PowerPoint, you will need to download the app and log into it on the device you are using.
Download Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint
Even if you have created activities, you must have the Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint app installed before presenting.
To download the software, visit Poll Everywhere Apps & Integrations, and navigate to the download for Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint. Download the version for your device (Windows or Mac). The pollev.exe file will download to your device. Follow the instructions to install it.
Log into Poll Everywhere in PowerPoint
Once you have installed Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint:
- Launch the PowerPoint app on your computer. If you have PowerPoint open, you may need to exit the app and open it again.
- Select the Poll Everywhere tab, then select Log In
- You will be directed to your browser to complete the login process
If you do not see the Poll Everywhere tab in PowerPoint, there are two options. First, if you had PowerPoint open before you downloaded the Poll Everywhere app, exit PowerPoint and then reopen it. Second, ensure that the Poll Everywhere app is installed on the device. You may need to reinstall the Poll Everywhere app and log in any time you are using a new device.
