eduroam is UNLV's primary Wi-Fi network for students, faculty, and staff to connect to while on campus. Customer's using eduroam not only have access at UNLV, but at thousands of participating eduroam institutions. Guests from other institutions can also connect to eduroam while at UNLV.

To connect to eduroam, customers will need to enroll their device with UNLV. Once enrolled, devices will automatically connect to eduroam for 12 months. Customers will then receive an email to renew their devices. Customers may enroll or renew devices at any time.

Enrolling Devices for eduroam

Before you begin

Before you enroll in eduroam:

  • Only currently enrolled Students , Active Faculty/Staff, or participating Eduroam instutution members will have access to Eduroam. All others must use the Sponsored process outlined here.
  • You cannot connect directly to eduroam from your network list. You must enroll each device that you want to connect to eduroam with this process.
  • You can enroll up to 100 devices into eduroam. Each device is valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment. Expired devices do not count toward your limit.
  • Make sure your device is using the latest Operating System and has no pending updates.
