If you would like to change your MyUNLV password, or have forgotten it, you can update your password online.
This process only works for new students and alumni
Students who are currently enrolled, or were enrolled in at least one course within the last two years will use your ACE account to sign in to MyUNLV. If you cannot login to MyUNLV, contact the IT Help Desk.
Reset a Forgotten MyUNLV Password
- Go to my.unlv.edu
- Select Forgot Your Password?
- For incoming students and alumni enter your User ID (NSHE ID) then select Continue
- For existing students, staff, and faculty, visit ace.unlv.edu and reset your passworth through those channels.
- Enter the answer to your Security Question then select Email New Password
Your new temporary password will be sent to your email. If you do not receive the email, please call the IT Help Desk.
Change your MyUNLV password
For current students, staff, and faculty, please visit the ACE Password Reset page.
If you are able to login to your MyUNLV account, but would like to change the password:
- Sign into my.unlv.edu with your NSHE ID and current password
- Select NavBar (compass) in the top right corner
- Select Change My Password
- Enter your Current Password, followed by your desired New Password,
- If you wish to update your security question
- Select the magnifying glass in the Question field
- Select a question from the list
- Enter your answer in Response
- Select Change Password.
You will receive confirmation the password has been changed.
