Body
Drive for Desktop is a desktop application for Windows and macOS that allows you to stream/sync your UNLVMail or Rebelmail Drive account to your device. Once installed and activated, Drive for Desktop will create a drive similar to mapping the X Drive or connecting a flash drive to your device. You may then add, modify, move, and remove files within File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) and these changes will automatically update in Drive.

Troubleshooting Tips
Drive for Desktop only works on Windows and macOS devices. Other devices should access Drive via their respective native applications.
Drive for Desktop does not automatically download all files to your device. Instead, the application will stream the file once you attempt to open it on your device, only downloading the file when requested. If you plan to be offline, you should sync any folders that you need when working offline. See the usage guide above and reference the section "Keep files and folders offline."
macOS may require additional permissions/setup. Drive for Desktop should walk users though the process to grant the permissions.
Missing Files or Folders?
If you can't find a file or folder in Drive for Desktop, but can see it online, you can force a re-sync of a folder.
To force re-sync a folder:
- Open Windows Explorer (Windows OS) or Finder (macOS) and locate the folder with the missing files.
- Hold down the Shift key (Windows OS) or Control (macOS) and right-click on the folder.
- A menu will open up. Select Refresh folder.
- This will force the folder to re-sync
