If you are looking for information on AI Companion for Zoom Workplace or In-Meeting AI Companion, please see the following: Setting up AI Companion for Zoom Workplace and Get Started with In-Meeting Zoom AI Companion.
Enable and Access AI Companion for the Web
Like AI Companion for Zoom Workplace, AI Companion for Web is used outside of a meeting. It is the most robust type, as it can use data from public webpages on the internet, your Zoom account (past meetings, transcripts, etc.), and from your UNLV Google account, if you enable access.
- Log into your Zoom account at it.unlv.edu/zoom
- On the left-hand navigation, select Settings
- Under the AI Companion tab, toggle the switch to ON beside AI Companion on the Web

Now that you have AI Companion enabled, you can access it on the web by navigating to ai.zoom.us.

Allow AI Companion to Access Your UNLV Google Account Files
Before doing this, ensure that your calendar and contacts integration has been set up. Once that is done:
- Access AI Companion on the web at ai.zoom.us
- On the left-hand navigation, select the settings gear icon
- In the Settings window, select Connectors
- Here, you will see a list of available connectors.
- If you have one connected to your AI Companion already, it will display the Disconnect option
- If you have not yet added it, it will display the Connect option

- Select Connect beside the connector you wish to link to your account
- You will be prompted to choose a Google account. Be sure to select your UNLV Google account (@unlv.edu or @unlv.nevada.edu). Personal Google accounts are not supported for this feature
- The screen will now display a prompt which says, “Zoom wants access to your Google Account.” Select Continue
- Zoom will then indicate that you are about to connect the Google app to your account. Select Confirm

- If the link is successful, a confirmation page will appear, then automatically redirect you back to AI Companion
NOTE: While listed as options, please note that Microsoft connectors, like OneDrive and Outlook integrations, are not supported. Any attempt to add a Microsoft connector will result in an error.
