Reset or Change your ACE Password

Forgot or need to change your ACE password? You can often reset or change your password self-service. 

Reset a Forgotten ACE Password

If you have forgotten your ACE password and need to reset it, you can do so during sign in.

  1. Go to ace.unlv.edu
  2. Select Forgot password? 
  3. Enter your ACE username
  4. Follow the instructions to complete your password reset

Change Existing ACE Password

If you already can sign into your ACE Account, but would like to change your password, you can do so via the ACE dashboard.

  1. On your computer or mobile device, go to ace.unlv.edu and sign in with your ACE Account.
  2. On the ACE Dashboard, select your name in the upper right.
  3. Select Settings.


     
  4. Select Edit Profile. If you do not see Edit Profile, continue to the next step.
    • You may be prompted to sign in again. Enter your password, then select Verify.
    • You may be prompted to satisfy MFA before you can change methods. If you cannot complete MFA, contact the IT Help Desk.


       
  5. Navigate down to Change Password
  6. Enter your current password, then select a new password.
  7. Select Change Password
