ACE Account

The UNLV ACE account provides students, faculty, and staff with access to multiple systems on campus with a single username and password. Many UNLV applications support the ACE account.

Faculty / Staff can use their ACE account for these services:

  • WebCampus (Learning management system)
  • UNLVMail (Email and collaboration suite, powered by Google Workspace)
    • Username is typically first.last@unlv.edu
    • Password is ACE password
  • Workday (HR and leave keeping system)
  • eduroam (Wireless access)
  • LinkedIn Learning (Online training for faculty, staff, and students)
  • RAVE (Rebel Announcements Via E-mail, a weekly newsletter for sending announcements to students based on class standing)
  • SEND (Student E-Newsletters from Departments, a weekly newsletter for sending announcements to students based on department) 
  • Rebelfiles (Remote network file access) 
  • REBELearn (HR learning management system)
  • Archibus Web Central (Space management system. All faculty and staff users have access to view basic space information. Additional access to make changes must be delegated or requested from Space Management.)
  • Webex (Video conferencing solution)
  • Windows OS* workstations (Requires initial configuration)

Available Upon Request: 

  • VPN (Remote access to UNLV network resources from off campus)

When is my account created or activated?

Your ACE account information is created once your contact is fully processed in Workday. Typically, this is done by your Supervisor or HR Partner in your department. Your Supervisor or HR Partner should be able to access your hiring process status to provide updates.

New Faculty/Staff, will receive their ACE activation email the morning after their hire process is fully completed in Workday. Faculty/Staff may receive an email they need to complete on-boarding tasks. You will receive your ACE activation the morning after you receive this email.

Returning Faculty/Staff, will have their existing ACE account reactivated within 48 hours of your hire process is fully completed in Workday. You'll continue to use the same ACE username and password as before. You can request a password reset if you have forgotten your password.

Already an active student? You'll use the same ACE account, regardless if you are both Faculty/Staff or a Student. Faculty/Staff access will be added automatically.

How long is my ACE Account active?

Your ACE Account will remain active for as long as you are an active employee of UNLV.

If you separate from UNLV, your account will be suspended on your last day of employment at the end of the business day.

If you are an eligible student of UNLV, your Faculty/Staff roles will be removed on your last day of employment at the end of the business day. 

Can I get access to my account after it's suspended?

You will need to contact your former supervisor and have them request temporary access on your behalf from the IT Help Desk.

Multifactor Authentication

All ACE Accounts require multifactor authentication to sign in. You will be prompted to setup MFA during your first sign in. Learn more about Multifactor Authentication.

Password Reset Information

If you have forgotten your ACE password, you can try to reset it online.
