Enabling In-Meeting Zoom AI Features
In order to use any AI features in Zoom, you must first enable and configure them in your account settings.
- Log into your UNLV Zoom account
- On the left-hand navigation, select Settings
- Select the Zoom AI tab. Here, you will navigate between three sub-tabs: Meeting, Recording, and Whiteboard

Enable Meeting Summary
Under Meeting > Meeting Summary with AI setting, turn the radio button to the ON position

Enable AI Companion Questions
Under Meeting, toggle the radio button beside Allow Users to Ask Meeting Questions with AI to the ON position.

Enable Smart Recording
Under Recording, toggle ON the radio button beside Smart Recording with AI. Keep in mind that this only works if you cloud record your Zoom meetings.

Enable Content Generation
Under Whiteboard, toggle the radio button beside Whiteboard Content Generation with AI to ON.

Using In-Meeting AI Features
Turn On Zoom AI Features in a Meeting
To turn on AI in a Zoom meeting after starting one, look for the Zoom AI button icon at the top right of the screen. They resemble sparkles. During the meeting, after turning on Zoom AI, selecting this icon also will open up a side panel allowing you to ask questions to an AI about the meeting.

Turn In-Meeting AI Off
If you want to turn AI features off during the meeting, navigate to the top right of your meeting window, select the AI sparkles, and select Stop Zoom AI.
