UNLV students use Rebelmail, powered by Google Workspace for Education. Rebelmail accounts are very similar to UNLVMail accounts that employees use, but they exist within a separate domain (@unlv.nevada.edu). A Rebelmail account provides access to more than just e-mail, and includes a collaborative suite of useful applications:
- Gmail
- Google Calendar
- Drive (Cloud Storage and Productivity Apps)
- Sites (Web Pages)
- Groups (Mailing Lists)
- Contacts
- Meet
- Keep
- Jamboard
- Lucidcharts (Diagrams) - Limited to 10 documents for students
Account Creation and Activation
All Rebelmail email addresses are formatted [your ACE username]@unlv.nevada.edu
Signing In
Rebelmail accounts are created at the same time as your ACE Account. Once you activate your ACE Account, you can sign into Rebelmail one of two ways:
Option 1: ACE Dashboard
- Go to ace.unlv.edu
- Sign in with your ACE Account
- Select a Rebelmail app.
Option 2: Google Account
- Go to any Google service, like mail.google.com for Gmail
- Enter your full Rebelmail address
- If prompted, sign in with your ACE Account
Customers are eligible for a Rebelmail account if at least one of the following is true:
- Degree-seeking students have accepted their admission in MyUNLV
- Students are currently enrolled in at least one class in MyUNLV
- Students who have completed at least one course within the last two years
- Faculty members who are designated as emeritus faculty or staff by the NSHE Board of Regents
Locating Your Email
You can locate your Rebelmail address from your Gmail inbox.
- Sign in to Rebelmail using Option 1 above (ace.unlv.edu)
- Select Rebelmail Mail from your Dashboard
- In the upper right, select the Rebelmail logo / account photo
- Locate your Rebelmail address in the pop-up below
Password Reset Information
Rebelmail uses the ACE account, so password resets can be completed through the ACE Self Service page.

What is my Rebelmail address?
Your Rebelmail address is typically your ACE Username followed by @unlv.nevada.edu (e.g. rebel57@unlv.nevada.edu)
What is my Rebelmail password?
Your Rebelmail password is the same as your ACE password. You can reset your password on the ACE Self Service Page.
How long is my UNLVMail account active?
Access to UNLVMail is controlled by your ACE Account. Refer to Student section of ACE Account for information on eligibility.
What if I am no longer eligible for a Rebelmail account but need temporary access for a short period of time?
You may submit a request for temporary access to a Rebelmail account by reaching out to the IT Help Desk.
